"Confusion" is a work of art designed by Magne Furuholmen for Bølgen & Moi in Oslo, in collaboration with Snøhetta. The work consists of fragmented anagrams of the word "confusion", executed in high-fired porcelain tiles with black decoration. The tiles are mounted on the wall and create a visual expression that invites reflection and interpretation.
The work explores the concept of confusion by breaking up and fragmenting a word that symbolises complexity and chaos. The black decorations on the tiles create contrast and strengthen the expression, while the technique of high-fired porcelain tiles lends a lasting and solid dimension to the artwork.
