Design: Magne Furuholmen
“Confusion” is a work of art designed by Magne Furuholmen for Bølgen & Moi in Oslo, in collaboration with Snøhetta. The work consists of fragmented anagrams of the word “confusion” executed in high-fired porcelain tiles with black decoration. The tiles are mounted on the wall, creating a visual expression that invites reflection and interpretation.
The work explores the concept of confusion by breaking up and fragmenting a word that symbolizes complexity and chaos. The black decorations on the tiles create contrast and strengthen the expression, while the technique of high-fired porcelain tiles gives a durable and solid dimension to the artwork. "Confusion" is a thought-provoking piece that contributes to shaping the room's aesthetics and experience.
