Spire from Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik is a delicate dinnerware collection in white porcelain with beautiful relief decoration. The shapes are inspired by the Spire (Shoot/Sprout) decorative element itself, which elegantly stretches upwards. The Spire dinnerware was first launched in 1952 and designed by Konrad Galaaen, who was employed at Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik in 1947. Christian Svinddal and Nora Olafsdatter Krogh have designed new shapes for a revitalization of Spire, adapted for a modern everyday life. The design language and decoration remain true to Konrad Galaaen's concept, where the interaction between shapes and decoration is central.
