FAUNA COFFEE PACKAGE

The Fauna pattern was conceived when illustrator Astrid Reppe was on a trip in the Norwegian wilderness. The Norwegian fauna, with its wild, untouched nature, became a beautiful and robust design where fox, hare, and ptarmigan are found among juniper berries and other wild plants. The dinnerware was launched in 1998.

High-fired feldspar porcelain is the quality of porcelain that Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik has produced since 1887, from its very beginning. High-fired porcelain is considered the noblest quality of porcelain and is characterized by being translucent white with a clear, glossy glaze. High-fired porcelain consists only of pure natural materials, is 100% impermeable, very robust, and suitable for both celebrations and everyday use.

The white porcelain from Porsgrund has traditionally been called "the white gold." This speaks volumes about the high status the material held in Norway in the 20th century. Now, they proudly carry on the tradition with white gold of the finest quality.
