Product description

The Storehouse dates back to the 18th century, originally from a farm in Nore in Numedal, and was moved to Lysebu in 2003.

Exquisite miniature porcelain houses from Lysebu, designed by Jette Frölich and produced by Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik. New additions this year are Fløyen and Stabbur. The houses have integrated LED lights with a switch on the underside. The products come in an elegant gift box.

Jette Frölich has been synonymous with Christmas in her native Denmark for more than 50 years. She designed her first decorations and stencils as early as 1964. 30 years ago, she made her debut in Norway by decorating Lysebu for Christmas.

Lysebu is run by the Fund for Danish-Norwegian Cooperation after it was given as a gift from Norway to Denmark in gratitude for the help Norway received during World War II. The magnificent conference hotel was decorated with her designs and has been so every year for Christmas. In her anniversary year, the Danish-Norwegian cooperation is expanded with something quintessentially Norwegian, Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik. Together, Jette Frölich and Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik have created the fantastic house you now hold in your hand. It is Jette's Lysebu in white porcelain, illuminated so it can be a decoration and source of joy during the Christmas season and throughout the year.
