BLUEBIRD BUTTERFLY OVAL PLATTER 39 CM

Bluebird is a homey and nostalgic tableware set launched in 2012. Chief designer Maud Gjeruldsen Bugge has designed a tableware set with solid roots in Porsgrund's history where blue and white have always been central colors. Bluebird is designed for you to mix and match yourself, and to choose just your favorites from among the many pieces. Bluebird has bowls that are perfect for cereal, dinner plates that make everyday meals decorative, and great pasta plates that are ideal for the party table.

Hard-paste porcelain is the quality of porcelain that Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik has produced since our very beginning in 1887. Hard-paste porcelain is considered the finest type of porcelain and is characterized by its translucent white color with a clear, glossy glaze. Hard-paste porcelain consists of pure natural materials, and is 100% impermeable, very durable, and well-suited for both special occasions and everyday use.

Porsgrund’s white porcelain has traditionally been called “white gold”, which shows how highly it was regarded in Norway in the 1900s. We proudly carry on the tradition with the finest quality white gold.
