The Pors collection is inspired by myrica gale – the aromatic bog-myrtle plant that grows in the moors and heaths around Porsgrunn. This plant, with its fragrant gray-green leaves, has been part of the region’s history for centuries, also represented in the city's coat of arms, alongside the anchor, which PP features in its logo. Traditionally, bog-myrtle was hung in bunches around homes for its pleasant scent, and it was also used in brewing beer. The Pors collection is hand-painted in a beautiful green shade, with a delicate relief of the plant along the edges, adding both texture and character.
