The popular SPIRE series from Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik has a new serving bowl, perfect for salad or, for example, potatoes. Spire from Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik is a delicate dinnerware set in white porcelain with beautiful relief decoration. The dinnerware can be used everyday, but is equally suitable for festive occasions. The shapes are inspired by the Spire decorative element itself, which elegantly stretches upwards. The Spire dinnerware was first launched in 1952 and was designed by Konrad Galaaen, who was employed at Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik in 1947. Christian Svinddal and Nora Olafsdatter Krogh have designed new shapes for a revitalization of Spire, adapted for a modern everyday life. The design language and decoration remain true to Konrad Galaaen's concept, where the interplay between forms and decoration is central. Read more
