The icing on the cake for a successful Easter table is small hats for the eggs.
Make cute, small hats out of yarn for your Easter eggs. Use them as toppers on the eggs at the breakfast table, or hang them as decorations on a branch.
The hats are easy to make and are therefore a lovely activity that the whole family can participate in.
You will need an empty toilet paper roll, yarn, and scissors
Cut to the desired height for what will be the hat brim
Then cut bundles of thread 35 cm in length
You can fasten four threads at a time
The threads are secured by pulling the loop through the ring
Then, pull the threads through the loop
Tighten.
Once the entire ring is covered with yarn, pull all the threads through the hole
Dangle the threads so they lie neatly
Tie the ends together with a thread to form a tassel
Trim the tassel to the desired size.

Christmas lasts all the way until Easter! The hats are also nice to bring out again for Christmas – as Christmas tree decorations, gift toppers, or strung together on a garland.
