When Porsgrund Porselænsfabrik wanted its own knitting pattern, it was natural to draw inspiration locally. Therefore, the colors and patterns were inspired by shirt embroideries from the Øst-Telemark bunad. The combination of knitting, bunad, and porcelain forms a higher unity, and we hope this can be a tribute to Norwegian craftsmanship.

Therefore, the colors and patterns were inspired by shirt embroideries from the Øst-Telemark bunad. The combination of knitting, bunad, and porcelain forms a higher unity, and we hope this can be a tribute to Norwegian craftsmanship.
The colors are a clear reference to the bunad universe; in addition to a subdued service in gray tones, mugs will also be available in exciting color combinations. With this service, we also hope to contribute to the joy of knitting through patterns for garments with the same design.
