Partitur was designed by the artist Ole Lislerud and launched in 1999. The decor elements are details from Arne Nordheim’s score to the ballet “Storm”, based on Shakespeare’s play of the same name. Hard-paste porcelain is the porcelain quality Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik has produced since we first began producing it in 1887. Hard-paste porcelain is considered the finest type of porcelain and is characterized by its translucent white color with a clear, glossy glaze. Hard-paste porcelain consists of pure natural materials, and is 100% impermeable, very robust, and well-suited for both special occasions and everyday use. Porsgrund’s white porcelain has traditionally been called “white gold”, which shows how highly it was regarded in Norway in the 1900s.
